Android Wear Already Has Its First Web Browser

Surely it is not the most appropriate use to the small screen of a smartwatch, but some think that you welcome “for a rush”, so here it is the first web browser for Android Wear devices.

The application is called Wear Internet Browser, and it is available free of charge for download from Play Store, providing smart watches with Android Wear the possibility of viewing web pages from the own clock display.

The browser has all the possibilities of such applications, and is fully compatible with the G Watch from LG and Samsung’s Gear Live, although its performance is quite archaic in terms of speed and fluidity.

The hardware does not give for more, while the browser can even controlled through voice commands or by sending the links directly from the smarpthone.

Basically it’s a port of the open source Chromium version to the smartwatches, only not used Google’s services when it comes to browser Internet.
